FINAL Project - Mini Golf Hole

This project was a piece that was allot of work but the end product was rewarding.

Each Group had a different theme and then we put on a Mini Golf Event for the public to come and enjoy. It was allot of work but it was fun when it came down to the actual event. My group and I had the theme of time travel.

Each of us dressed up to represent a different decade.

Kate Schied - Project 5 All Natural Bridge

Project 5 - All Natural Bridge

These are photos of the All Natural Bridge Project, my group and I made. The other members in my group include Katie Cappadonia and Jack Yu.

We used a verity of natural building materials for our bridge they include, logs, wood, stones, bamboo shoots, pine needles, and bark. Then for the materials we used for supports included vines and then bark strips that we got from making charcoal in Drawing class. We also made a stone walk way on either end of our bridge.

This project was a struggle for me really didnt understand the math inovled at first for proportions sake. Then When I figured out it had to be 1" high (with a 16x16 in square), my first idea was not possible all that much. So i settled with my 2nd idea and that was to use dry clay. I had to mash it up in to a consistency so they were all around the same size. I still didnt know how it would turn out. When i got starting with the working with matterials part it was a bit more less stress. and I finally had something i didnt think was possible. throughout the "building" part of the process I found it hard to stay within the 1" hight, though in the end i did.
